Dear Printpak User,

This is to let you know about a problem you may experience this morning - forewarned is forearmed, as they say.

Today we are releasing a major new update to Printpak called Version 5.  One of the changes is in the way updates are delivered.  Unfortunately this means that Version 4 installations may face problems in this initial upgrade, which on some systems may result in a 'General Protection Fault' in Windows as you try to log in.  If you get this, please be aware that there is a very simple work-round, as follows:

1) Close the error message and Printpak should close.

2) Start Printpak again. In the log-in screen, click on 'about Printpak'.

3) Then click on 'check for updates'. The update should load.

4) Printpak should then re-start automatically - if it doesn't, start it by hand. It will now run without error.
